I'm not very familiar with the original either. But despite this being a cover I find this to be one of the best tracks from the album.

During the chorus, she sounds rather like Rihanna at times I think. OK cover but the song itself isn’t too great.

Oh, the Rihanna comparison is the non-wailing, actually listenable version of Rihanna, not the shocker of 2010 onwards.
