Forum - General - My Love Is Your Love (song) by Whitney Houston

The chart book by Timo Pennanen states that the song peaked at # 20 on the singles chart whereas Finnishcharts.com says that it peaked at # 12. Which one is the correct position?
Between the period summer 1999 - summer 2000 (ca 12 months) there were two singles charts published, one that also included radio airplay (The Official Singles Chart) and one that was based purely on sales figures (Singles Sales Chart). The Official Charts soon realised it wasn't such a good thing to add radio airplay to the singles chart and went back to being an only sales chart. As there were also the 50 Hittiä (Finnish Top 50 Hits Chart) that, like Billboard Hot 100 and Dutch Top 40, already combined sales and airplay in a more successful way the Sales/Airplay Singles Chart became obsolete. Because it was the official chart that included the airplay statistics and it was the official chart, those charts are the ones listed here in this archive. For that 12 month period Timo Pennanen chose to include the Singles Sales Chart as all other weeks in the history of The Official Finnish Singles Chart have been only sales based. Depending on which way you look at it, both chart positions are correct, however the #12 position is the one it reached on the Official Singles Chart.
