**** A solid follow-up album to the impressive 'Adventures of Bobby Ray'.

Much like his debut, B.o.B. plays around with a range of genres as he flits between rapping, singing and using his feature artists for better or worse. The highlight of the album is definitely the solo sung 'So Hard To Breathe', which really hits the mark, but probably lacks the commercial accessibility to be a single. Other great moments of the album include 'So Good', 'Just A Sign' and the immensely radio-friendly 'Castles'. Urban fans should be appeased by the enjoyable 'Out Of My Mind' and 'Arena', both potential singles. The album would get a greater rating than a 4 star rating, but it just lacks the big moments you'd hope for and the single choices aren't so clean cut and obvious this time around. |
