Überzeugend. Ich denke, da hätte man noch mehr draus machen können, insbesondere der Refrain bleibt nach den starken Strophen etwas auf der Strecke. Egal, es bleibt auch so ein gelungener Mix aus all dem, was Bastille ausmacht. |

Puh, für mich genau zwischen 4 und 5. Sehr schöne Nummer, die mir gleich richtig Spaß macht. Unkonventioneller ist hier eher "Pompeii", dafür wirkt dieser Song hier bei mir etwas schneller.<br><br>Ganz knapp 5.<br><br>Edit (12.7.22): Das Lied kann die 5 mittlerweile klar nicht mehr halten, eine 4 langt hier völlig.

Good song. I don't like it as much as Pompeii but that could change in future, hopefully this can go top 5 like Pompeii did.

Pompeii is still their best single from their debut album but this is still not a disappointment. The chorus is full of energy and yet the lyrical content is so uniquely gripping.

I think this is actually my favourite from "Bad Blood". I love the sense of urgency, as if it's called out in panic in the night, with the darkness fitting the theme of the lyrics*. Oh and that hook is immense. 4.6<br><br>*Has not seen a single episode of Twin Peaks :P |

Wenn man erst einmal auf den Geschmack von Bastille gekommen ist, wird man "Laura Palmer" auf jeden Fall lieben, denn hier steckt besonders viel von der Einzigartigkeit der Gruppe drin.<br><br>Der Anfang erinnert mich sogar an das wunderbare "Lies" von Marina and the Diamonds. Ganz große Klasse! |

Klingt wie ein weiterer Aufhänger für den Forumsfred "Was zum Geier ist mit Indie passiert!?". Eben zu glatt, zu unbedeutend, zu uninteressant. Die beste Stelle ist zwischen ... ach nee, das ist schon das Ende. |
