Awesome return for the band and I think they got some pretty good tracks on this one. Hope this would continue their dominance as the 'kings of Canadian Post Grunge'. Bottoms Up is the best off the album though none of the tracks are bad! |

Absolut geniales Album von Nickelback. "Dark Horse" war schon sehr gut, aber hier haben sie sich (grösstenteils) selbst übertroffen. So Nickelback finally get a #1 album in Australia. Not that I'm a fan, but it's only right with the success they have here that they should have a #1 album, especially since they're not Rihanna :P. I think this is better than the previous two albums which means that it's the best Nickelback album I've heard. Exceedingly 3.5 worthy.<br> |

Auch für mich das beste Album der Kanadier. Alle Lieder sind eigentlich gut bis super.<br><br>Meine Bewertung:<br><br>01 This Means War (6)<br>02 Bottoms Up (5)<br>03 When We Stand Together (6)<br>04 Midnight Queen (6)<br>05 Gotta Get Me Some (6)<br>06 Lullaby (6)<br>07 Kiss It Goodbye (6)<br>08 Trying Not To Love You (5)<br>09 Holding On To Heaven (6)<br>10 Everything You Wanna Do (5)<br>11 Don't Ever Let It End (6)<br><br>Total: 63 / 11 = 5.73 -> 6<br><br>Interessant ist auch dass auch eher schwächere Songs dennoch überzeugend klingen, sodass keine meiner Bewertungen under die 5 geht.

Their most consistent and solid Album yet and overall their 2nd best behind All The Right Reasons. No tracks were below average and have consistently good backing music. What makes this Album special to me is that I brought it in the same week it went to #1 and gave NB their 1st #1 in Australia. Best Tracks on this Album include, This Means War, When We Stand Together, the riff on Kiss It Goodbye, Lullaby (Best on the Album by far), Trying Not To Love You, Holding On To Heaven and Don't Ever Let It End. |

Bei einer Kritik auf einer Internetsite zum Vorgängeralbum "Dark Horse" lautete die Überschrift mal: "Und sie haben doch Eier". <br><br>Das lässt sich auch sehr gut auf dieses Album beziehen. Wieder ein absolut gelungener Mix aus dem Nickelback-Radio-Rock-Futter und einigen doch etwas härteren Stücken. <br><br>Daher für mich ein absolut gelungenes Album, einzig der Schlusstrack fällt etwas ab. |

Im Vergleich zu "All The Right Reasons" und "Dark Horse" ist dieses Album extrem konstant. Peinlichen Sex-Rock gab's diesmal nicht mehr, das war auch der Grund, warum weder erste genannte Alben noch das Best-of-Album in meinen CD-Player passten. |
