Die gefloppte letzte Single aus dem Album (zumindestens hier in Deutschland, # 86). Warum gerade dieser veröffentlicht wurde, wissen wahrscheinlich nur SG alleine. Ziemlich aggressiver lauter Rock-Track, allerdings gar nicht mein Ding!

Nun ja, vermutlich wollten sie einen Gegenpunkt zu ihrem etwas softigen Image vermitteln. Der Anfang des Songs finde ich sogar gut gelungen, aber der Refrain konnte mich noch nie richtig überzeugen. |

So rockig wie hier waren "Savage Garden" niemals sonst. Überzeugt mich aber nicht so sehr von der Melodie. Ist irgendwie eher lärmig zudem.<br><br>Der Refrain hat ordentlich rein, doch dennoch ist es eher als Gefühls-Pop/Rock anzusehen. Der Gesang von Darren ist wohl daran schuld.

I liked this a lot when it came out, although not as much as the other singles off here. A good listen nowadays simply because I don't hear it very often at all, whereas To The Moon and Back and TMD are still played ad nauseam

lekker steviger nummer van het album "Savage Garden" uit 1997. Ik vond het altijd al wel geschikt als single, nu zie ik dat het nummer inderdaad op single is uitgeweest. In elk geval niet in Nederland! |

Great! I have always really liked this. Very cool sound, I love the energy and it's very catchy too. This is so much better than "Truly Madly Deeply" imo, should've been as big as the previous three singles.

Back in '97 I didn't like this so much. It was a move in a direction away from what I liked in the first three singles. But this is certainly a solid track, showing that SG too can produce a good riff. |
