Diese CD hat mich zum Pumpkin-Fan gemacht.<br>Die Songs sind ruhiger und melodiöser als in ihren <br>anderen Werken aber trotzdem sehr stark. |

Kann mich nur voll anschliessen. <br><br>(Zu) wenige haben dieses Album gekauft, aber diejenigen<br>die es gekauft haben, wurden reichlich dafür belohnt.<br><br>Melancholie in Reinkultur. <br><br>P.S. Verstehe allerdings durchaus, warum "Hardcore"<br>Pumpkins Fans so ihre Mühe mit diesem Album hatten,<br>ist halt ganz was anderes als man vorher von ihnen<br>kannte.....<br><br>5 - 6

Das 4te Album ist ja eigentlich ein Solo-Werk von Corgan. Alle Songs selbst geschrieben, alle Songs alleine eingespielt und auch produced.<br>Steht weit, weit, weit hinter ihren (wirklichen) Meisterwerk "Siamese dream"..

"Adore" war sicherlich ein sehr, sehr mutiger Schritt nach "Mellon Collie". Sie hätten eine Kopie abliefern können, doch diese Dichte an Melodien für die Ewigkeit hätten sie nie wieder erreicht. Mit "Adore" kam etwas ganz anderes, das für mich auf seine Weise ebenso brilliant ist. Ein Juwel der Melancholie, bis ins kleinste Detail stimmig. Und mit vielen magischen Momenten dazu. So fantastisch hat Billy zudem nie wieder gesungen. Für mich ein Meisterwerk und essentielles Album einer ewigen Lieblingsband! Traumhaft schön. |
